Last weekend while Mallory and I were in the backyard it was necessary to teach her the word "doo doo" (we have a dog and I won't explain why I taught her that word). Well, she has found all kinds of practical applications for the term. A small pile of dirt where a squirrel dug a hole - doo doo. Her hands covered in black dirty ickiness from the playground - doo doo. A piece of cheese stuck to the bottom of her foot - doo doo. A large piece of fuzz on her carseat - doo doo. A price tag on the floor in a store - doo doo. Tissue paper in a box of new shoes - doo doo. Basically anything yucky, trash-like, or generally out of place is now doo doo. It's kind of embarassig and kind of funny.
The director at Mallory's daycare braided her hair one day this week. It was so stinking cute! Maybe Kali will teach me how to french braid this weekend. We are planning to spend all day Saturday at their house boiling crawfish and shrimp while the kids play outside. I can't wait! Fun pictures to come next week.

Ha! I wonder how long it'll be before she gets mad at you and points to your face and says, "Doo Doo!" =) She's such a little cutie.
