This weekend we were invited by the Lamb family to attend the Miracle Ball. It is a huge fundraiser for Children's Hospital. It is a formal event with dinner and silent and live auctions. We were invited to go last minute last year when they had 2 extra tickets so they got tickets for us again this year. BJ loves to get dressed up and I was lucky that Kali had a dress, jewelry and a clutch for me to borrow! She has a little bit of everything I think. I rarely purchase clothes for myself or Mallory or toys for her because Kali either has it already or just buys it because she is a little bit of a crazy shopper (she doesn't believe it but she is). Brittani and Danny went as well and we all looked very snazzy. We had a great time. It's nice to feel fancy sometimes.
On Sunday Mallory got to be fancy also. She wore a black velvet dress with matching coat to church. She was pretty happy about it! She didn't even try to take off her shoes so she must have liked her "look."
We are gearing up for Christmas! After this week I have 2 weeks off to shop, eat and play with Mallory. We hope it stays cold! It's fun to bundle up. :)
