I Love My Bumbo

Mally's been eyeballing Mommy and Daddy's food for quite some time now. We have been offering her baby cereal which she refuses to eat. Probably because it is gross. I finally offered her baby vegetables instead...which she loves! We have eaten carrots, which left a bright orange surprise scaring her teachers at daycare, and last night we ate grean beans. I warned them about today's pending green surprise.





Since we don't have a highchair yet, we have been using our bumbo with the activity tray. Since she is only wearing a diaper to avoid staining her clothes, I put a blanket over the bumbo so she wouldn't be cold. It works pretty good but it will be nice to have a real highchair. I am hoping to get one at the Rhea Lana consignment sale in 2 weeks. Kali got Parker's there and since she is a volunteer at this particular sale, she gets to shop before it is open to the public. She is going to snag me a good one! New highchairs are ridiculously expensive!

We have also discovered that we can use the bumbo in our bathtub! This way she can sit up by herself to play with toys.




Mommy has to hold me up when I am out of my bumbo (no the water is not usually this deep. this was just so the toys would float at bumbo level). I chased this shark around for a long time and I finally captured it!
