Easter Chick

Easter weekend was busy, busy, busy. At least for us! We usually do a whole bunch of nothing. Friday night our church dropped Easter eggs from a helicopter onto a football field. Something like 2,000 people came! There were already some eggs on the field and 7,000 more fell from on high. We met Kali and Parker there. Parker liked talking in to his bucket and Mallory just observed. She's a people watcher.

Saturday we went to a crawfish boil at a co-workers house. The weather was PERFECT. I pawned the baby off onto other people part of the time, but she seemed to enjoy herself. She also wore some stylish shorts and a tank top!

Even though Mallory was completely unaware that Sunday was Easter, she still knew she looked pretty in her Easter dress. She got to stay in the nursery the whole service for the first time and they even said that she is ready to move up to the next room because she sits and plays! Crazy!

Here we are in our Easter garb. I will post a good picture of her in her dress when I get a chance to pull it off of the camera. I think she was more interested in eating it than wearing it.

At her 6 month checkup, she weighed 15 lbs 6 oz. She is in the 40th percentile for weight and 50th for height. According to her spot on the curve, she is extremely average. I've been ragging on her a little about being so dang average. :) She is eating and sleeping like a champ and growing like a weed.
