Hello, Summer

It's hot! Yesterday BJ, Mallory, Danielle and I went to the Greek Food Festival. We sat on a grassy hill in the shade and ate some yummy Greek food and it was HOT. Mallory ate some pita bread and a small piece of lamb. She loved it! Danielle and I spent the rest of the day shopping which we NEVER get to do anymore. It was really fun! I got 2 bathing suits and am ready for the summer. Mallory is ready too! Today she swam in her pool in the yard. She loves to splash and round up her floaty, squirty toys. Later we went on our usual walk around the block and it was HOT.

We are all exhausted this evening and are preparing to watch the last episode EVER of Lost. I am so sad! I am a huge dork and love Lost.


Mallory updates:
-She continues to babble "dadagagababa"
-She is soooo close to crawling
-She is finally a really good roller. She can flip flop any which way she chooses.

BJ updates:

Our concrete company finally arrived at the point a few weeks ago where drawing our bank loan would be necessary. While we are grateful we were able to acquire this loan, officially drawing it = debt. At the same time, the only company BJ would consider going to work for at this time contacted him! He didn't apply for a job because he was very committed to making his own gig work, however, for the last few years he has developed a good friendship with one of the guys at McGeorge Contracting and hoped to one day work for them. The timing was perfect so after prayerfully considering our options, he decided to take the job. He is so excited and it is a great opportunity at a great company. It's always nice to have a job and have income! :)
