What's going on in Laffertyville

So, believe it or not, it isn't ALL about Mallory! In the last month, BJ has been working to establish his own concrete construction business. He has wanted to do this and the time was right so he went for it. He has all of the legal and accounting and whatever else taken care of already. Now he is finishing working on his business plan so we can get the funding we need to begin working. Please pray that we get it taken care of soon! We don't need much so hopefully it won't be too difficult.

Since BJ hasn't been driving to Beebe everyday anymore for work, he has been able to spend more time with Mallory. I am so lucky that she has a daddy that can take care of her so well. I don't have to worry about a thing when she stay with him. He does everything I would do and some things he does better! Yes, I said he can take care of Mallory BETTER than me! She just likes him because he is silly. :) Since he is such a good daddy, I decided that I am going to make the trek to Dallas over my Spring Break next month. I am so excited! Danielle and I used to go down and stay the weekend to visit my Aunts and Cousins and go shopping about twice a year. We haven't been in at least a year and a half and we are pumped!

Ok, now it's about Mallory...She got her 4 month shots this week and had fever the next day. I felt really bad for her. :( They called me from the daycare to say she had fever and was inconsolable. Good thing it is 2 minutes from work! A little tylenol and she was all better. She has had another cold though. I guess they all do at daycare. Oh well.

Here are some cute pictures from this week..

PS: I flipped over from my front to my back for the first time today! Daddy saw it but not mommy :( I also used both of my hands to put toys in my mouth today. I have been doing it one handed, but now I know how to use both at the same time! I am so coordinated!

  1. I think it was Spencer's 4 month shots that caused him some trouble too. The first time I had ever seen him that sad! "Inconsolable" would have been an understatement. What a blessing that BJ and Mallory do so well together. =)
