Laffertys Unite

This weekend a miraculous event occurred. All of Mallory's Aunts and Uncles on the Lafferty side gathered in one place to visit her. We managed to not get a picture of it! I took a few cruddy pictures that I will post later, but we didn't get a group picture. Aunt Shannon from Maryland was able to visit Mallory for the first time. She got to love on the baby girl and watch her in action. Shannon will be having a boy this Spring and we are so excited that Mallory will have a cousin her age!


Mallory also went to church again this week. She was well behaved and entertaining everyone around us during the singing, but turned on the crabbies when the sermon started. Mom took her down to the nursery and they rocked until church was out. I guess from now on she can sit with us for the first half then go swing or hang out in the nursery during the sermon. She looked pretty in her pink sweater dress that my friend Michelle bought her. She even wore a white headband. Again, no pictures. :(


Daddy and Mallory have sure been playing a lot lately. Daddy discovered he can make his baby laugh out loud and it is really cute! They play all kinds of game and read books and giggle together. He's almost got her rolling over too. Any day now!


She has started to reach out and pick things up better. She can pull toys to herself and into her mouth with the greatest of ease.
