Miracle Ball and Family Visit

This was a big weekend! On Saturday night BJ and I were invited to attend the Miracle Ball for Children's Hospital by our friends Kali and Dennis. Kali's family are all big supporters of the hospital and had extra tickets this year. Even though it was last minute, we were excited to go. I got to wear the dress I wore in Brittani's wedding a few years ago so that was nice. When do you ever actually get to wear bridesmaid's dresses again!

Mallory's Mamaw (BJ's mom) stayed with Mallory for a few hours while we were gone. Something caught her off guard just before we left and made her screamy and mad so I don't think she was much fun while we were gone. Sorry Mamaw! Mommy and Daddy sure were glad to go out for a while though. :)

On Sunday we took the baby to Des Arc to visit BJ's Dad's family. We went to Mallory's great great aunt Jewel's house. Mallory was mostly nice to her aunt and cousins. She gave us that bottom lip and a quick scream right when we got there but decided it was ok and she would cooperate. Thanks, Mally! We were really glad she got to meet more family members.

This was the car ride home. She was making sure her pacifier didn't fall out.

I think her weekend wore her out because last night was a fun filled night of crying. Mommy and Daddy are tired today, but mostly Mommy because Daddy somehow slept through most of it. Why can't I do that? I'm sure she will be back on track tonight. At least we hope so! :)
